Firewood Shop

 

The LCW Firewood shop is open! 😄

This year our firewood stack is the biggest it’s ever been and is ready to burn. We have a good mixture of two year seasoned hardwoods with good amounts of Hazel, Oak, Ash and Sycamore to get your fire roaring.  All bags are mixed species and logs are cut at approximately 23cm and split where possible. Due to the nature of coppiced woodlands, log diameters vary.

Firewood is sold in bulk bags that measure 0.9 x 0.9 x 0.8 M. We aim to deliver firewood loose (as we reuse the bags) and as close to your preferred drop off that our truck will allow. We charge £15 (per bag) for moving firewood more than 5 meters by hand and another £15 (per bag) for stacking if desired. 

We are also able to offer net bags of softwood kindling, however kindling can only be ordered in addition to firewood.

Please note we have a 7 mile free delivery zone from our wood yard in LS16, which covers the majority of North Leeds.  After that delivery is charged at £1.80 per mile there and back.

Unfortunately after many ongoing issues we no longer accept Paypal. Card payments are preferred on the website. If you have any issues with card payments please get in touch for alternative methods of payment.

Leeds Coppice Workers are now VAT registered and are required to add 5% to all purchases of firewood and charcoal.
