Situated to the south west of Harrogate, Briscoe Wood is a 16 acre (public access) wood that was planted in 2000. Since March 2017 Yorkshire Community Woodland have held the lease. It was originally planted as a Millennium wood by members of the local community with a mixture of native broadleaf trees. YCW run volunteer days at Briscoe wood and have a facebook page where they promote their events.
Leeds Coppice Workers help manage Briscoe wood by felling and extracting diseased Ash Trees and repurposing the timber as firewood.
